_*Job Description:*_
Fast growing engineered cable assembly solutions company is now searching for an Accounts Receivable Specialist responsible for supporting the daily operations of the accounting department.
_*Duties to include:*_
· Process daily invoices
- Review invoices for accuracy
- Determine status of any credit cards issued
- Settle credit cards
- Includes returning customers to credit hold
- Mail/Email invoices
- Review remote deposits of incoming payments
- Input into database
-Release credit holds by verifying pre-approval on credit cards, wire has been received, or credit issue has been resolved
- Work with customer and/or sales if needed
- Credit reference checks
- Send credit package
- Review data received for completeness
- Complete credit references
· Dunning of customers
- Contact customers whose invoices are past due
- Make notes of all communication
- Put accounts on credit hold as needed
- Communicate with Accounting Manager when accounts are non-responsive
- Communicate with Accounting Manager when accounts are greater than 90 days past due
- Create Proforma Invoices
- Intercompany Accounts Receivable duties as assigned
- Backup to Accounts Payable as needed
- Other duties are assigned by management
_*Desired Skills & Experience:*_
* Minimum 5yrs+ bookkeeping/accounting experience
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Experience with Visual software a plus
* Positive attitude a must
* Must maintain confidentially
