*Job Summary: *As the Payroll Administrator and EEO Officer at Zone Striping, Inc.
, you will play a crucial role in accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with equal employment opportunity (EEO) laws and regulations.
This position requires a strong understanding of payroll processes in the construction industry and a commitment to promoting a diverse and inclusive workplace.
*Key Responsibilities:*

Payroll Processing:*
• Compile and process payroll data for hourly and salaried employees using the company's payroll system.
• Verify and reconcile timekeeping records, bonuses, commissions, and other payroll-related inputs.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of payroll cycles.

Certified Payroll Reporting:*
• Prepare and submit certified payroll reports in compliance with prevailing wage laws and government regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of wage rates, fringe benefits, and other information required for certified payroll reporting.
• Collaborate with project managers to gather necessary information for certified payroll reporting on construction projects.

EEO Officer Responsibilities:*
• Monitor, maintain, and update equal employment opportunity policies and programs at Zone Striping, Inc.
• Conduct EEO training sessions to educate employees about their rights and responsibilities.
• Investigate and resolve complaints related to discrimination and equal opportunity.
• Ensure compliance with EEO laws and regulations and maintain records of EEO-related activities.

Compliance:*
• Stay current with federal, state, and local payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements related to the construction industry.
• Ensure compliance with union agreements, prevailing wage rates, and other industry-specific payroll considerations.
• Stay informed about changes in EEO laws and regulations and update company policies accordingly.

Recordkeeping and Reporting:*
• Maintain accurate and organized payroll records, including employee information, deductions, and earnings.
• Generate and distribute payroll reports to management as needed.
• Assist in preparing financial reports related to payroll costs.

Communication and Collaboration:*
• Work closely with the HR department to address employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits.
• Collaborate with finance and accounting teams to reconcile payroll-related accounts.
• Provide support during internal and external audits related to payroll.
*7.
Continuous Improvement:*
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency and accuracy.
• Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements in payroll systems.
*Qualifications:*
• Proven experience as a payroll administrator in the construction industry.
• Solid understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, compliance requirements, and certified payroll reporting.
• Knowledge of EEO laws and regulations.
• Proficient in using payroll software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time-management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
*Education and Experience:*
• Previous experience in the construction industry is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
• Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation is a plus.
