*Staff Accountant (Full-time, Year- round)*

New Jersey Motorsports Park is looking for a Staff Accountant to support the management of our accounting and finance department.
As the Staff Accountant, you will perform duties such as completing general ledger account reconciliations for each closing period, perform monthly cash audits and report discrepancies, process daily accounts payable transactions for the Company including posting invoices and processing disbursements and special projects and other tasks assigned by our Chief Financial Officer.
This position is a full-time, year-round position, primarily Monday through Friday with some weekends required to assist during
off- track events such as mud runs, food truck festivals etc.
To qualify for this *Staff Accountant *position, we require the following skill sets and qualifications:
· *Must *have hands-on working experience in QuickBooks
· Comprehensive knowledge in General Ledger and Financial Analysis
· Advanced level experience using Microsoft Excel that includes experience in developing and maintaining spreadsheets
· Detail oriented and the ability to work both independently and as a team player
· Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
· *Minimum *2+ years of general ledger and 2+ years in accounts payable
· Previous payroll experience using Primepoint or ADP is beneficial to support our Director of Human Resources in the payroll function
