Position: Treasury Associate
Reports To: CFO
Position Summary:
Responsible for directing an organization's accounting functions.
These functions include establishing and maintaining the organization's accounting principles, practices, procedures, and initiatives.
Primary responsibilities to support Treasury, Payroll and Accounts Payable duties for Cape Resorts properties.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the safeguarding and maintenance of the company assets, financial reporting and for the management of the Company accounting function.
To ensure appropriate and effective focus on these objectives on a day-to-day basis, while contributing to the strategic development of the company.
To ensure the company culture is visible in all aspects of the business.
Responsible for posting invoices daily into Accounts Payable module along with scanning of invoices (M3) for assigned Properties and Shared Services.
Oversee Bank Reconciliations and other Treasury duties for multiple Properties.
Manages the Corporate Card Programs for Shared Services
Assist in the Inter Company Reconciliation.
Assist with the annual processing of vendor 1099s.
Assist with printing emails and check requests.
Assist with phone calls to vendors for missing invoices or statement reconciliations.
Shared Services billing and accounts receivable functions.
Additional duties as necessary and assigned by VP of Finance and CFO.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:
Experience with Sage and M3.
Must be PC proficient and able to thrive in a fast-paced setting.
Must have strong experience with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), financial software and databases.
Basic accounting knowledge desirable, with reconciliation, audit, Accounts Payable experience, and prior experience working with cash.
Strong verbal and written communication skills
