Municipal Bookkeeper/Accountant (Part Time)

We are seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Municipal Bookkeeper/Accountant to join our growing municipal team.
* Our Municipal Bookkeepers/Accountants play an important role in ensuring our Clients’ satisfaction and serve as direct partners working on-site with our clients.
As part of our team, you will be an integral part of an organization that believes in the power of relationships and providing guidance to clients.
*Responsibilities include:* * Cash disbursements * Township receivables * Bank account reconciliations * Payroll processing * Board of supervisors meeting reports * Budget preparation and creation * File annual, required state reports * Act as a point of contact for township auditors and provide all necessary documentation and information * Provide various accounting and bookkeeping projects as assigned.
*Qualifications include:* * At least two years of experience providing accounting/bookkeeping services * At least two years of experience in QuickBooks preferred * Proficient in Microsoft Office with advanced proficiency in Excel * Ability to multi-task, solve problems, and work in a deadline-driven environment * Excellent interpersonal skills/time management skills * Strong attention to detail * Desire and ability to interact with client personnel on a daily basis * Ability to work independently * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Willingness to learn and be part of a dynamic work environment * Ability to communicate in a professional manner in-person, via email and other electronic means * Municipal experience preferred *Additional Information* * Part-time position * Salary commensurate with experience * Travel within Delaware County may be required Job Type: Part-time Experience: * Bookkeeping: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: In person
