POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist's responsibility is to support the finance and operations divisions in the billing and collections process.
The goal of an Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist is to ensure that customers are being presented with the most accurate, detailed, and fair information to reflect the work performed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare & Execute accounts receivable (AR) billings in accordance with customer contract or company standard rates
Prepare & Send Monthly Accounts Receivable (AR) Statements
Accounts Receivable (AR) Cash Receipt posting
Complete weekly/monthly accounts receivable (AR) reports, reconciliation, and journal entries as needed
Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections per Company policy
Assist customers with invoice related questions
Liaison with appropriate team members for proper approvals
Assist Management with Month-End and Year-End Closings related to accounts receivable (AR)
Review unbilled AR work status
General Administrative duties and accounting functions as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education/Experience: 2-3 years' experience in accounts receivable (AR), billing, or related
Preferred Qualifications: Construction/Mechanical/Service accounts receivable (AR) industry experience highly preferred, Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, Verbal & written communication skills, Attention to detail and organization, Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook, Ability to work as a team player
