Job Description
The Senior Financial Analyst role is responsible for finance operational business partnering activities, with a primary focus on project tracking – contract review, project revenue & cost analysis, inventory valuation, capital investment analysis, S&OP support, working capital management.
Domestic travel may be required.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for supporting the project management team in tracking project revenue and related costs, reporting of actuals, and forecasting volumes, sales, revenues.
costs and contribution along with an understanding of the variances and drivers.
Assisted Commercial team in analysing commercial proposals including profitability analysis and credit analysis.
Work with material control in the preparation of accurate and timely reconciliations of all inventories – raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
Assist with completion of monthly operating reports, timely and accurately, to ensure financial deadlines are being met and reporting on any variances.
Develop, analyse, and maintain standard costs used for project costing.
Develop, analyse, and maintain standard costs used for inventory valuation.
Complete various key performance indicator reports and ad-hoc analysis as requested by management.
Assist in preparation and analysis of monthly operating reports, forecasts, annual budgets, 5-year plan.
Assist in the preparation of supporting schedules and documentation for annual audit, physical inventory, and monthly cycle counts.
Work with local teams to develop business cases for capital investments.
Assist with the tracking & monitoring of these plans.
Work with internal and external resources with the current implementation of Dynamics 365
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
B.
S.
in Accounting or Management is required.
Must have 3-7 years of experience in a manufacturing / development environment.
Is knowledgeable in the understanding of all EH&S policies and procedures.
A good understanding of GAAP, IFRS, and general ledger system is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Familiarity with enterprise / ERP systems preferably Dynamics 365
