Our Opportunity Project Accountant - Construction $55,000 to $65,000 Starting Salary DOE The Project Accountant position is responsible for various accounting functions in support of projects and the day-to-day general accounting activities.
This person must have good communication and attention to detail as they will be working with our internal and external customers.
Key duties include: Inputs project budgets and material costs into company software.
Creates, updates, and oversees Potential Change Item (PCI) and contingency logs.
Approves and documents pay requests and material invoices.
Obtains and monitors all payments, lien waivers and verifies that the information is accurate.
Processes monthly client billings.
Expense reporting and reimbursement Assisting in records management of company vehicles/equipment Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, and accounting software.
Education and Experience: 3+ years of related accounting experience Associates degree a plus Industrial, manufacturing, construction or related industry experience a plus Growing company with market competitive salary, solid benefits and growth opportunities.
