Vintage 1939-41 General Electric model 4H10 "Amherst" - $135 (Ocean View)

The 1939-41 General Electric model 4H10 called the “Amherst” This is a very rare vintage clock as there were only 4100 made in its three year production.
It has an Art Deco design and measures 17-5/8 x 7-3/4 x 4 with a richly grained brown stripped mahogany case with a dark brown almost black base and distinctive stripes of maple inlay which is stunning in the light.
This clock was stripped of many coats of varnish and recoated with four new coats.
The movement was cleaned, adjusted and oiled with synthetic oil.
The rotor was oiled with synthetic motor oil.
I have installed a new vintage style 7’ cord and plug.
The brass was all polished and painted with a clear protective brass finish so it will not tarnish again for many years to come.
It has been tested for two weeks and keeps very accurate time.
This antique clock would make a nice Mother’s or Father’s Day or even a graduate gift.
